Who We Are
Chako Kunamokst Rediscovery is a land-based healing and cultural program owned and operated by Nuxalkmc on the ancestral homelands of Nutl’l Suts’lhmc. Since 1984, we have been walking alongside our community, guided by the teachings, memories, and medicine held within the land.
What We Teach
Our programs are rooted in land-based healing, cultural connection, and ancestral knowledge. Through lived experience, time on the land, and guidance passed down by our elders, participants reconnect with identity, resilience, and a deeper sense of belonging.
About Our Community
Our community is made up of elders, knowledge holders, youth, families, and supporters who walk this path together. Whether you are a returning participant, a curious community member, or future camper, you are welcomed into a space built on care, respect, and collective strength.
